There is a lot of circular reasoning and ad hominem going on in in this discussion.
The fact is, although there are some responsible 18-20 year olds, there are also many irresponsible ones. Also, it has been proven that alcohol has negative long term effects on memory and brain development in 18 year olds, and also heightens the chance of a teen drinker becoming an alcoholic.

now you’re just being unreasonable, in my opinion i do think that the drinking age should be lowered to 18 years of age just because of the fact that we can be drafted and vote at the age of 18.
