About the Author

My name is Daniel Quitschau. I’m a 18-year-old webmaster and author. I run several websites and have written many songs, poems, short stories, and essays. I currently attend Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, and will be double majoring in Marketing and Economics. Economics have long since interested me, which has also sparked an interest in related fields of study, such as politics, sociology, psychology, theology, and philosophy.

I am a proponent of small government, free trade, lower taxes, civil liberties, and generally, liberty. I do not align myself with a political party. Neither the Republicans nor the Democrats are the parties they originally where, though I would consider myself a “Ron Paul Republican.” In reality, I hold primarily libertarian philosophies on government.

Among my favorite political and economic books are The Revolution, A Manifesto (by Ron Paul) and Free to Choose (by Milton Friedman).

I consider myself moderately knowledgeable in most political and economic topics, but I recognize that there is almost always something to learn. Hopefully through this blog I will not only share my knowledge with others, but I will also learn something myself.

If you have any questions about me, this site, or my political views, feel free to email me or add a comment.

  1. Nice job on the website. you have accomplished a lot for someone of your age. I think you have wisdom beyond your years. Anyway your domain name speaks volumes. Hopefully it will be noticed by a lot of people and get them to think about the republic and what so proudly we hailed, but is quickly vanishing from us unless people wake up soon. Best wishes to you on your future plans. Take care and be free. Regards, Fred
